I’ve been creating content for the Internet in various forms since 1996. In 2005 I launched the first podcast ever for a Catholic organization and have since created thousands of hours of content that have downloaded over six million times.
From articles, podcasts, and videos, I (along with my wife, Jennifer) have had countless amazing experiences combined with life-changing and historical moments.
Below you’ll find a collection of just a sampling of those moments. My hope is that as you look through these, you’ll remember all of this started with the simple goal of making content that matters in the lives of others. And with that in mind, even with the most basic tools, it is possible to take part in projects that make a difference in the world.

1. The Catholics Next Door #001: Reboot
After hosting a daily 3-hour-a-day talk show on SiriusXM for over five years, we returned to our podcasting roots and rebooted our “The Catholic Next Door” program as a weekly show in October 2012. The response has been fantastic. This episode has special meaning to my wife and I because this is the episode where we started down the path of truly learning how to develop content and resources that both help others as well as support our family.

2. Rosary Army Episode #034: Jenny Lee
Recorded in December 2005, this was the episode that made me realize the power of podcasting. After letting our audience know my wife, Jennifer, was expecting our fifth child, we then felt the responsibility of sharing with that same audience when we lost the baby due to miscarriage. This is a raw, honest, and completely transparent episode that we doubted should be uploaded. But the ripple effect of genuine connection with our caring audience is something I will remember forever. Read the comments on this one and you’ll be amazed at how a podcast is capable of reaching people’s hearts.

3. Rosary Army Episode #124: The Open Door
Recorded in January 2007, this was the episode where we revealed the many ways God lead me to leave a productive career in the Information Technology market to pursue work in ministry. This was a lesson in extreme risks, extreme trust, and extreme growth in my personal and professional life. I go back and listen to this every couple of years to remind me of God’s presence in the decisions we make.

4. The Catholics Next Door #013: Extra! Extra!
Making the announcement of another life-changing decision that we were loading up the family and moving to Colorado. Another story of prayer, discernment, trust, and moving forward.

5. Rosary Army Episode #200: Rosary Army - The Musical!
Proving just how unique and different podcasting can be, we celebrated our 200th episode in grand style by producing the first Catholic podcast musical! Though goofy as you can imagine, this episode still cracks me up whenever I listen to it.

Catholic Digest – What is the New Evangelization?
We were having dinner with several other Catholics last summer, when my wife Jennifer posed the question, “What’s the first thing you think when you hear the phrase new evangelization?”
3 Ways to Engage and Strengthen Your Online Audience
If you talk to the average Catholic podcaster or blogger, you’ll most likely find that audience sizes for various projects typically hit a viewer plateau that’s virtually impossible to break through. Whatever the number, it seems to represent a nearly unbreakable and perpetually unchanging threshold.
Minecraft makes me feel stupid. If you don’t know what Minecraft is, stop right now and thank the Lord for His intervention in protecting you from this cult-breeding virtual LEGO set video game that bestows upon children the power to create whatever gargantuan constructs they can imagine out of 8-bit digital blocks.
Why I Gave Up On Artistic Endeavors, and What’s Bringing Me Back
Since childhood, my ultimate career ambition has always been to be a novelist, to craft long-form prose, to see it in hardcover with a removable jacket sleeve, and to somehow sustain myself and my family through the quest of creating memorable fiction.

Catholic Techie Spotlight from CatholicMom.com
Greg Willits is distinctive for a lot of reasons, and one of them is for his part in Catholic podcasting. But he’s not limited to that. He’s an author and a speaker, too. But most interestingly to me, he’s a husband and a father.
Tsunami Rising: New Evangelizers on the Move
Greg Willits and his wife Jennifer, Catholic parents of five children, have been responsible for the distribution of over 2.5 million hand-made rosaries all over the world through their non-profit “Rosary Army.” For most busy Catholic families, that would be enough of an accomplishment.
The Normal Catholics Next Door
Greg and Jennifer Willits claim that there is no bilocating or levitating going on their suburban home. I have to wonder though, as they seem to be doing superhuman work in the “New Evangelization” of the Catholic faith.

In their new book, appropriately named The Catholics Next Door: Adventures in Imperfect Living, Greg and Jennifer take turns addressing topics such as “Our Neighbors Think We’re Nuts,” “Imperfection Leads to Perfection,” and “Family-Rosary Wrestling.”
Greg’s Most Popular Videos
Despite having won Gabriel, Telly and other awards for my video and audio productions, funny enough, some of my most popular videos are ones you wouldn’t expect. Below are some of my most viewed online video productions.
How to Make California Roll Sushi
Apparently, a lot of people want to learn to make California rolls. Always amazed this is my number one video, having been seen almost 90,000 times!
That Catholic Show: Sit, Stand, and Kneel
This is the first real production I ever did from start to finish, and this lead to a lot of other video work over the years.
That Catholic Show: I Confess
This is one of my favorite videos we’ve ever shot. Tried to do a lot of difficult shots with very little equipment. One of my favorite shots ever is of Jennifer riding a bicycle while I was hanging out the back of our van while my mom drove.
That Catholic Show: You Are a Priest Forever
Our son, Sam, is now probably twice as tall as he was when we shot this video. Wish I could get him to cut his hair short again like in this video.
Can Scalini’s Eggplant Induce Labor?
Jennifer did have our baby within 48 hours of eating Scalini’s eggplant parmesan. But she was also more than a week past due.
Greg Runs a Marathon
Not shot by me, but all 26.2 miles were run by me!
